And In the matter of : Sukmani Mondal @ Suparna Mr. Ashok Kumar Nath ... ... for the petitioner Mr. Madhusudan Sur, APP Mr. Manoranjan Mahata ... ... for the State Petitioner is in custody for over a year. It is submitted that she has been falsely implicated in the instance case. Statement of the victim discloses primary role of the petitioner in running a brothel where the girls were used for sexual exploitation.

In view of the gravity of the offence having far reaching social consequences and the primary role of the petitioner therein, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date.
