Das ... ... for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee Mr. Suman De ... ... for the State Statements of witnesses show that petitioner had control and custody over the room where the body of the deceased was recovered. He was also last seen with the deceased by a witness who had supplied liquor to them.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating circumstances and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
