Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that certain payment has been made in terms of the order dated 18th November, 2019. The petitioner, however, submits that the payment was not made in accordance with the direction made in the said order.

The direction was passed for payment on interest as mentioned in the memo from the date of its accrual till the date of actual payment.

The petitioner submits that the interest has been calculated and paid till the year 2008. The petitioner submits that the same ought to have been calculated till

the date it was actually paid to the petitioner in the year 2021.

The aforesaid contention of the petitioner cannot be looked into or decided by the Court sitting in the contempt jurisdiction.

In view of the above, the contempt application being CPAN 680 of 2020 stands disposed of.

The petitioner will be at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of the grievance, if so advised.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
