Petitioner is in custody for 2 years and 9 months. Mother-in-law of the victim lady is on bail.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Dying declaration of the victim implicates the petitioner as well as his mother-in-law. However, co-accused who is on bail is a lady. Hence, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. The application for bail is, thus rejected.
