The writ petition was filed on 10th December, 2020 and the same is pending till date.

Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, an accommodation has been sought for on behalf of the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The petitioner prays for implementation of the order passed by the Special Officer (Building) in Demolition Case No. 33-D/Borough-VIII/2019-20. The Court has not been aware as to whether the writ petition was at all served upon the respondents or not. The Court has also not been made aware whether the order seeking implementation has been set aside, varied or modified by any superior forum.

As the matter is pending more than two years, the Court is minded to dispose of the same.

The Executive Engineer, Borough-VIII, the respondent No. 5 herein is directed to take steps for implementation of the order passed in the aforesaid case strictly in accordance with law provided the same has not been set aside, varied or modified by any superior forum.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
