The writ petitioner complaints of illegality in the process of recruitment to the Nadia District Central Co-operative Bank Limited published by notice dated 31.12.2019. He submits that the recruitment process is in violation of Rule 105 of the WBCS Rule of 2011. He also raised other grievances and further also assails the recruitment process on other grounds.

Since the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy under Section 102 of the WBCS Act of 2006 before the Registrar Cooperative Societies, the petitioner may avail such remedy. Hence, the instant writ petition cannot be entertained.

However, it is made clear that in the event the petitioner approaches the appropriate authority under Section 102 of the 2006 Act within a period of 15 days from date, the recruitment process shall abide by any decision that may be taken by the Registrar on the petitioner's application.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
