Having considered the materials on record and in view of the prima facie involvement of petitioner No.1 in assaulting the victim who suffered head injury resulting in hospitalization, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner No.1. However, in view of the complicity of the petitioner Nos.2 to 7 in the alleged crime, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner Nos.2 to 7 be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, allowed. The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court.
