18.12.2020 Sdas rejected C.R.M. 10563 of 2020 (via video conference) In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Raghunathganj Police Station Case No. 322 of 2018 dated 12.07.2018 under Sections 489B/489C of the Indian Penal Code.

And In Re : Hafiz @ Hafizul Sk @ Hafij @ Md. Hafijul Islam ..... petitioner Mr. Anisur Rahman ... for the petitioner Ms. Z. N. Khan Mr. M.F.A. Begg ... for the State Statements of the witnesses including contemporaneous seizure list show recovery of fake Indian currency notes for the petitioner. Recovery was made in a public place prima facie disclosing intention of the petitioner to deal in those counterfeit notes.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same expeditiously preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Suvra Ghosh, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
