Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that victim was murdered and bludgeoned to death. Her mobile phone was recovered from the petitioner. Portion of the torn shirt was recovered from the place of occurrence matched with the wearing apparels of the petitioner.
We have considered materials on record in the light of the aforesaid submission made on the behalf of the prosecution. The circumstances are clinching and grave.
In view of the aforesaid fact and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. (Suvra Ghosh, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
