The writ petitioner claims that he retired from service on 30th April, 2011. He claims that he has not been paid gratuity, commutation leave and leave salary till date.

Counsel for the Railway Board submits that the matter has been referred to the Railway Board for clarification. Since the Railway Board has already considered the petitioner's case, it shall also consider the claim for interest made by the petitioner at the rate of 12 per cent per annum in terms of the Circular No.

F(E)111/2002/PN1/17 dated 06.11.2008.

Railway Board shall positively consider the petitioner's case and dispose of the same, as directed hereinabove, within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The compliance of the aforesaid direction would rest on the Chairman of the Railway Board.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
