Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner impersonated as an Income-tax officer and committed dacoity. He was identified during the Test Identification Parade.

We have considered the statements of witnesses as well as the Test Identification Parade report. Petitioner was identified in the course of Test Identification Parade. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
