And In Re : Pradyut Mondal ..... petitioner Mr. Arnab Chatterjee ... for the petitioner Ms. Z.N. Khan Mr. M.F.A. Begg ... for the State Statement of the minor victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure prima facie implicates the petitioner as one who perpetrated penetrative sexual assault on her.

In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
