23.12.2020 Sdas rejected C.R.M. 10652 of 2020 (via video conference) In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Kandi Police Station Case No. 72 of 2019 dated 05.03.2019 under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act and Sections 3/4 of the E.S. Act.

And In Re : Akshay Pal ..... petitioner Mr. Sagnik Mukherjee ... for the petitioner Mr. Prodipta Kumar Ganguly ... for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record prima facie disclose involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime. Under such circumstances and in view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
