Advocate appearing on behalf of the CESC Limited submits that there is a billing dispute and the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy available under Regulation 3.5.1of the West Bengal Electricity Regulation. In view of the statutory alternative efficacious remedy available to the petitioner this writ petition being WPA No. 10857 of 2020 stands dismissed as not maintainable.

The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Grievance Redressal Officer of the WBSEDCL in accordance with law. If such proposed representation is filed before the Grievance Redressal Officer, the Grievance Redressal Officer is requested to consider and dispose of the same within a period of three weeks from date after giving a right of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner and by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions this writ petition being WPA No. 10857 of 2020 stands disposed of.
