Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that after the death of their father/ husband, a representation for compassionate appointment was made before the Registrar, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Nadia, but such representation has not been considered by the respondent authorities till date. Mr. Datta, Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the State submits that the issue of consideration of the documents of a deceased employee for compassionate appointment to his legal heirs has to be initiated from the concerned University.

Heard both the parties.

The Registrar, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya being the respondent no.4 in the instant writ petition is requested to consider this writ petition as a representation before him regarding compassionate appointment. The Registrar, Bidhan Chandra Krishi

Viswavidyalaya is also requested to give an opportunity of hearing to the legal heirs of the deceased employee before coming to a conclusion regarding his decision. The above decision should be taken in accordance with law and within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order along with a copy of the representation by the Advocate-on-record of the petitioner to the Registrar, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya..

The writ petition being WPA 10895 of 2020 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit have been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
