Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made an application on March 3, 2020 for consideration of appointment on compassionate ground before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, North 24-Parganas.
Mr. Vaisya, learned Counsel appearing for the State as well as the Council is present.
Learned Counsel appearing for the State submits that a direction may also be given upon the Chairman, North 24-Parganas to prepare a list of the vacant posts for non-teaching staff in the District of North-24 Parganas and such list be sent to the West Bengal School Service Commission for taking proper steps.
Heard both the parties.
The Chairman, District Primary School Council, North 24-Parganas is requested to prepare a list of
vacancy in respect of non-teaching staff in the District of North-24-Parganas, consider the application dated March 3,2020 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within 12 weeks and send the decision arrived at by the Chairman after considering the application of the petitioner and the list of vacancy to the West Bengal School Service Commission to take steps in accordance with law. The learned Chairman is also requested to send a copy of the reasoned order to the petitioner.
Learned Advocate on record of the petitioner is requested to serve a copy of this order along with a copy of this writ petition to the Chairman, North 24Parganas at an earliest. The writ petition is disposed of, however, no order as to costs.
Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
