Ms. Sayanti Santra ...... for the State Mr. Basu, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated. The complaint had been lodged about one year after the alleged incident. Upon completion of investigation, chargesheet has already been filed and as such, further detention of the petitioner, who is in custody for 112 days, is not necessary.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the petitioner's prayer and draws our attention to the 161 statement of the victim girl and the medical documents. Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the

nature of allegations, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail being C.R.M. No.10820 of 2020 is dismissed.
