Upon completion of investigation, chargesheet has already been filed and as such, further detention of the petitioner, who is in custody since 29th July, 2020, is not necessary.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the petitioner's prayer and draws our attention to several documents in the case diary.

Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the 164 statements of the victim, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail being C.R.M. No.10828 of 2020 is dismissed.
