The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant criminal proceedings. Upon completion of investigation, charge sheet has also been submitted and as such further detention of the petitioner, who is in custody since 18th October, 2020, is not necessary.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of this court to several documents in the case diary.
Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the nature of allegations and the
extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant bail at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
The application being CRM 10868 of 2020, is dismissed.
