The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the enhanced compensation in respect of the subject premises of the petitioner.

Mr. Sengupta, appears on behalf of the State respondents and submits that the subject premises has been acquired and compensation was paid to the tune of Rs.20,20,063/- and the same has been received by the petitioner.

In view of the fact that the acquisition proceedings had already been concluded, there is no scope of writ court interfering on the aspect of compensation. On the contrary, there is a statutory remedy available to the petitioner in law which the petitioner has failed to avail. In view of the aforesaid, there is no scope of entertaining this writ petition. Hence, WPA 11224 of 2020 is dismissed. However, there will be no order as to costs.
