Counsel for the petitioner submits that his client's father died in the year 2012. Thereafter he made an application for compassionate employment in place and stead of his deceased father, which has not been considered till date.

Counsel for the WBSEDCL submits that the petitioner's case was duly considered by the higher authority and rejected since the petitioner was 36 years 5 months and 12 days old i.e. one year five months and twelve days over the maximum age for being considered for compassionate employment. Let the formal decision taken by the WBSEDCL be communicated to the petitioner and/or his learned Advocate.

The instant writ application is disposed of without any order, however, granting liberty to the

petitioner to challenge the final order to be communicated, in accordance with law.

Let the communication be effected to the petitioner by the Counsel for the WBSEDCL within a period of 15 days from date.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
