The petitioner applied for family pension under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme by a letter dated July 13, 2020. The authorities are yet to decide on the same.

Union of India is represented.

In the facts of the present case, the application dated July 13, 2020 for disbursement of family pension under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme is yet to be considered and decided by the authorities.

In such circumstances, the respondent no.2 will consider and decide the representation dated July 13, 2020 of the petitioner in accordance with law. He will afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the

petitioner. He is at liberty to hear such other application and such other documents that he deems appropriate. He will pass a reasoned order, which he will communicate to the petitioner forthwith. It is expected that the respondent no.2 completes the entire exercise within eight weeks from the date of communication of the order to him.

W.P.A. No.11326 of 2020 is disposed of, accordingly.
