Case No. 399 of 2020 dated 08.08.2020 under sections 448/ 323/ 324/ 436/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioners have filed the present application.

The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent of the charges and have been falsely implicated in the instant case as a counter-blast to the case initiated at their instance. The learned advocate also submits that the complicity of none of the present petitioners would be evident from the materials on record. Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners and draws the attention of this Court to the statements of the witnesses as also the report of the Fire Services Authority.

We have perused the materials on record and having regard to the incriminating materials, prima facie, appearing against the present petitioners, we are not inclined to extend the benefit of anticipatory bail to

the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 10969 of 2020 is, thus, dismissed.
