Imam, Advocate Mr. Aurobinda Manna, Advocate ...for the State Apprehending arrest in connection with Baishnabnagar Police Station Case No. 649 of 2017 dated 05.09.2017 under Sections 341/325/326/308/304/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioners have filed the instant application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having regard to the materials on record, particularly, the statement of the witnesses recorded under Sections 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure disclosing involvement of the petitioners in the alleged offence, we are of the view that this is not a fit case where the petitioners should be granted anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
