The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for five years six months and till date trial has not been concluded because of the delay attributed by the prosecution. Additionally, learned advocate submits that the petitioner undertakes to abide by any condition imposed by this Court. Mr. Ahmed, learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the examination of almost all the witnesses have been completed save and except one investigating officer of the case is to be completed. He further submits that the next date is fixed on 11th February, 2021. Having regard to the fact that only one witness is left and the case is at the advanced stage, we are not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM No.11015 of 2020 is rejected. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.) (Tapabrata Chakraborty, J.)
