The grievance of the petitioners in both the matters is that, despite the petitioner being entitled to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme, the amount under such Scheme was disbursed in favour of respondent no. 7. In spite of having taken up the matter with the authorities, it is alleged, nothing has been done in that regard.

Learned counsel appearing for the Staterespondents, however, submits that, in view of the names of the petitioner and the respondent no. 7 being identical, there might have been some discrepancies in

the disbursement. It is assured by learned counsel, on instruction, that the State-respondents shall take immediate step for rectification of such error and start the process of disbursement of such amount in favour of the petitioner at the earliest.

Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 11441 of 2020 and W.P.A. No. 11449 of 2020 are disposed of by directing respondent no. 4 to rectify the error in disbursing the amount payable to the petitioner in favour of the respondent no. 7 and to disburse such amount in favour of the petitioner. Such exercise shall be completed within four weeks from the date.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
