The petitioner claims that he is working as a casual employee in a sanctioned post at the Amar Kunda Gram Panchayat.

He claims the benefits of Government Circular of September, 2011 and enhancement of remuneration. He also claims that he is entitled to work there upto the age of sixty years in terms of the said Circular dated September 2011 and subsequent circulars on the subject. Counsel for the State submits that the post has since been filled up with a regular incumbent and one K. Mondal joined in the post on January 29, 2018. The second post has also been filled up and there are no vacancies according to the State.

In those circumstances, since posts-inquestion have already been filled up by the regular process, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

The letter dated 20.01.2020 issued by the Block Development Officer to the Government Advocate and the documents submitted along therewith may be kept with the record. A copy of the said communications has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
