In Re: CPAN 614 of 2022 The effective intervention of the learned Advocate General is leading the matter towards a logical conclusion. Mr. Kalyan Badyopadhyay, learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that his clients, have proposed to sell their land, the property involved in the matter to the State on a total consideration price of ₹ 3,25,00,000/- (Three Crore Twenty-five lakhs rupees only). Learned Advocate General submits that the State has accepted the said proposal of the petitioners. He files photocopy of his letter dated April 10, 2023 whereby he has requested the Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department, Government of West Bengal to take steps to conclude the said sale transaction, the said document be kept with the record. Let the matter appear in the monthly combined list of July, 2023 under the heading 'To be mentioned'. It is expected that entire exercise in this regard would be completed in the meantime.
