Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the representation made by the petitioner to accord an approval of appointment to the post of Cashier from the post of Electrician is pending since 29th January, 2021.

Mr. Datta, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the State and Ms. Mitra, learned Counsel appearing for the University are present.

Heard all the parties.

The Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal being the respondent no.2 in the instant writ petition is requested to consider the representation of the petitioner. The writ petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition to the Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal. The Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal is requested to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to allow the petitioner to produce all the relevant

documents at the time of hearing and, thereafter, the Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal will pass a reasoned order within four months from the date of communication of this order to him. The Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal is also requested to communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner at an earliest.

The writ petition being WPA 11560 of 2020 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit have been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
