< Mr. Mohinoor Rahaman Ms. Iqra Rahaman ... for the petitioner Mr. Baidurya Ghosal Ms. Aatreyee Dutta ... for the respondent nos.1 to 5 This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in granting him notional promotion that would entitle him extra financial benefit.

The petitioner has made a representation before the authority concerned vide letter dated August 6, 2019.

Upon hearing the learned Counsels for the parties, it is my view that this representation should be considered by the respondent authorities.

Accordingly, I direct the Chairman, Paschim Banga Gramin Bank, being the respondent no.2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner by granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from date. The reasoned order is to be communicated to the

petitioner within a period of one week from the date of passing of the same.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
