Maiti .....For the alleged contemnors Pursuant to our earlier direction Prof. (Dr.) Indrajit Gupta, the contemnor no. 2 is present in Court with a further affidavit directed to be filed by him explaining the reason for non-complying with our order.

We have gone through the affidavit filed by the contemnor no. 2 in Court today. This affidavit is affirmed on 4th March, 2021.

On perusal of the said affidavit we are of the view that there has been no wilful and deliberate violation of the order dated 24th August, 2020 by the contemnor no. 2. The said affidavit is accepted and unconditional apology is tendered by the contemnor no. 2.

We, accordingly, dispose of the contempt application by recording the compliance of our order and accepted the explanation offered by the contemnor no. 2.

Personal presence of contemnor no 2 is dispensed with.
