For NCTE The petitioners intended to apply for Court No. 24 23.12.2021 (Item No. 15) (AB) recruitment in terms of the notification published by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education on 23rd November, 2020. The portal for online applications was open from 25th November, 2020. The last date for online form fill up and submission thereof was fixed on 1st December, 2020.

According to the petitioners, they are over qualified candidates and accordingly the online portal did not accept their applications.

The petitioners claim to have made representation on 27th November, 2020 and reminder thereto on 1st December, 2020.

It appears that thereafter the petitioners did not proceed further with the matter. The present writ petition was filed on 23rd December, 2020 that is long after the last date for filing the online forms was over. As the petitioners approached the Court at a delayed point of time and as nearly one year has

elapsed from the last date of submission of online forms, no relief can be granted to the petitioners in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
