This is an application filed by the defendant no. 1 in Title Suit No. 56 of 2017, pending before the leaned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Sealdah. It is the contention of the petitioner that the suit is still at the stage of evidence and the suit is of 2017. The petitioner prays that directions be passed for expeditious disposal of the suit.

It appears from records that several dates have been fixed for further cross-examination of PW - 1 but the cross-examination of PW - 1 has not been completed.

As no other interlocutory application is pending, the learned court below is requested to dispose of Title Suit No. 56 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order. This court has not gone into the merits of the claims of the petitioner and the learned court below will proceed in accordance with law.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite parties within a week from date.

It is needless to mention that the learned court below will proceed independently without being influenced by any observations made hereinabove. The revisional application is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible subject to compliance of all usual formalities.
