The petitioner is the wife in Mat Suit No.2356 of 2017 pending before the learned Additional District Judge 8th Court at Alipore. The petitioner prays for speedy disposal of the matrimonial suit which is pending since 2017. It is submitted that reconciliation has failed. It is submitted that no interlocutory applications are pending. It appears that the suit has been fixed for framing of issues and peremptory hearing.

Without going into the merits of the case and countercase of the parties, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge 8th Court at Alipore to expedite the suit and dispose of the same within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.

The learned Court below will decide the matter independently and without being influenced by any observation made hereinabove.

The learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon the

opposite party along with a server copy of this order within a period of seven days from date.

This revisional application is, thus, disposed of. There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
