For the State The present application under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 filed at the instance of Sanmani Mal & Anr. is taken up for hearing and order. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are the parents of the principal accused, who has been granted regular bail.

State seriously opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and refers to the statement of eyewitnesses and also injury report of the victim.

Regard being had to the extent of involvement of the petitioners in the alleged offence as borne out from statement of eyewitnesses, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

CRM 11202 of 2020 is disposed of.
