Begg Mr. Sabyasachi Mondal .. for the petitioner Mr. Aniket Mitra ..for the WBSEDCL Ms. Kumkum Mitra...............for the State The present application under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed at the instance of Dilip Chowdhury is taken up for hearing and order.

It is submitted on behalf of the WBSEDCL that the petitioner has deposited the sum of Rs. 1,06,303/- pursuant to order dated 19.03.2021.

Considering the nature of offence as well as the circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing bond of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) only with one surety of like

amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, allowed. C.R.M. No.11212 of 2020 is disposed of.
