Bhakat.............for the petitioners Mr. Soumik Ganguly ..for the State The present application under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed at the instance of Susmita Manna and another is taken up for hearing and order.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are the mother-in-law and husband of the defacto complainant and are innocent.

The State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and produces the case diary.

It appears that allegation against the petitioners are general in nature and their custodial interrogation is not required. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioners shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) only each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the arresting

officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, allowed. C.R.M. 11226 of 2020 is disposed of.
