Pursuant to an order dated 15th February, 2021, the petitioner was directed to make a representation for a fresh electricity connection at the subject premises.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that pursuant to the aforesaid directions, the petitioner has made such application and the respondents CESC authorities has also caused an inspection to be made. Mr. Lal appearing on behalf of the CESC fairly submits that if such application is pending with the CESC authorities, appropriate steps will be taken by them in accordance with law.
In view of the fair submissions made on behalf of the respondents CESC WPA 11872 of 2020 is disposed
of by directing the CESC authorities to take steps necessary in accordance with law forthwith and ensure that a electricity connection is installed at the subject premises.
The petitioner will comply with all formalities and make all necessary payment in accordance with law.
Liberty is granted to the respondent authorities to take necessary police assistance, if necessary. Mr. Lal fairly submits that appropriate steps will be taken by the CESC to ensure that fresh electricity connection is installed at the subject premises at the earliest.
