Mitra Ms. Joyee Maiti ... for the State Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the Police Authorities. On the other hand, a report has been submitted on behalf of the State which reflects that the Chanditala P.S. Case No. 505/2019 dated 27.11.2019 was initiated at the instance of the present petitioner, wherein after completion of investigation, chargesheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Having considered that the chargesheet was submitted on or about 31.12.2019 and the trial of the said proceedings are still pending, I direct the learned trial court to take the trial to its logical conclusion within a period of one year from the date of communication of the copy of this order.

With the above observations, WPA 11875 of 2020 stands disposed of. Connected application, if any, also stands disposed of.

Report submitted by the State is taken on record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
