The present writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent no.7 the Pradhan Bakshah Gram Panchayat to forthwith settle the dispute of Panchayat Road and the petitioners by measuring the lands by a Surveyor from the B.L. & L.R.O Office.

The State has placed a report submitted by the B.L. & L.R.O, Chanditala-II, Chanditala, Hooghly submitting that the concerned land has been transferred in the name of Samima Begam.

The petitioners' case is herein that his representation submitted with the Pradhan on 25.08.2020 has still date not been disposed of. Accordingly, learned counsel for the State is directed to serve copy of the report to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The Pradhan of the Panchayat being the respondent no.7 is also directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioners within 30 days from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

The petitioners are at liberty to communicate the server copy of this order.

In case the copy of the representation is not available with the respondent no.7, the petitioners shall file a copy of the same with the Pradhan. 7.

The petitioners are also at liberty to approach the appropriate authority praying for further relief. 8.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Pending applications stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Urgent Xerox certified copies of this order, if applied for, shall be supplied to the learned counsel for the parties as expeditiously as possible, in compliance of usual formalities.
