The petitioner is the husband in Matrimonial Suit No. 15 of 2016 pending before the learned Additional District Judge and Sessions Judge, 11th Court at Alipore. The petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of the Matrimonial Suit. It is contended by the petitioner, that no interlocutory application is pending. The evidence of the husband has not yet concluded and dates have been fixed for further crossexamination. Under such circumstances, this Court finds that justice will be sub-served if the leaned Court below is directed to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.15 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. It is made clear that this order will not be operative if the petitioner does not pay the maintenance pendente lite as directed by the learned court.

This Court has not gone into the merits of the claim and counterclaim of the parties and the learned Court below will decide the matter independently and without being influenced by any observation made hereinabove.

The learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon the opposite party along with a server copy of this order within a period of seven days from date.

This revisional application is, thus, disposed of. There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
