Mr. Bari, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a proposal for consideration of a "Die-in-harness" case has been sent by the Principal, Shyampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya to the Director of Public Instruction, Government of West Bengal and the proposal is pending consideration for last two years. Mr. Bari prays for early consideration of the proposal dated 12th June, by the Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal.

Mr. Datta, learned Counsel appears for the State.

Heard both the parties.

The Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal being the respondent no.

2 in the instant application is requested to consider this writ petition as a representation and the proposal dated 12th June, 2019 made before him by the Principal at an earliest. The Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal will also request the Principal, Shyampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya to produce all relevant documents before him. The Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal will also give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to allow the petitioner to produce necessary documents at the time of hearing. The decision to be arrived at by the Director of Public Instructions is to be communicated to the petitioner thereafter. The whole exercise must be completed within a period of four months from date.

The advocate on record of the petitioners is requested to serve a copy of the writ petition along with a copy of this order to the Director of Public Instructions, Government of West Bengal.

With the above direction WPA 11938 of 2020 is disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents. There will be no order as to costs.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
