1. Mr. Ray, learned advocate by placing before this Court the order dated 31st January, 2025 passed under Section 250 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for the Assessment Year 2017-2018 would submit that during pendency of the writ petition, the appeal has been decided in favour of the petitioners.

2. Having regard thereto, it is submitted that the petitioners do not wish to proceed with the writ petition any further.

3. Considering such submission and retaining a copy of the order dated 31st January, 2025 on the file, let the writ petition be dismissed as not pressed.

4. Accordingly, the interim order passed on 8th April, 2020 stands vacated.

5. The copy of the receipt issued by the filing clerk, High Court, Calcutta, to demonstrate the compliance of the undertaking of the petitioners to comply with the formalities regarding filing, including the stamping and punching of the petition upon resumption of the normal Court business, as produced before this Court today be retained with the records.

6. The connected application being CAN 1 of 2024 is also dismissed.
