Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. Perused the case diary.

The application for bail is canvassed on the ground that the applicant is a HIV positive and has lost 30 kilograms in a month's time. He is, however, receiving treatment in a Hospital. Charge against the petitioner is for carrying about Rs.2,95,000/- worth of fake currency notes. 3.

Fake currency notes are a threat to the economy as a whole and may be a tip of the iceberg to the larger and more complicated crimes against the nation.

Having regard to the above, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Case Diary be returned.

C.R.M. (M) No. 3 of 2026 is, thus, dismissed. 7.

Let copies of the medical documents of the petitioner may be supplied to his family members by the Jail Authority.
