Podder ... for the petitioner(s) Mr. Kallol Acharjee Mr. Dhimal Sil ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been implicated on the basis of statement of the co-accused and the subject-matter of the case involves recovery of 102 gm of Yaba tablets. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and referred to the seizure list.

Prima facie, I find that at this stage of investigation, except the statement of the co-accused, there are no other materials appearing against the present petitioners.

Having regard to the same, I am of the view that the petitioners may be extended the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is Allowed.

Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) each, with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer of the case and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. and/or under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

The petitioners shall on and from 12th January, 2026 meet with the investigating officer of the case once in a week till further orders of this court. This order of anticipatory bail will remain in force for a period of eight weeks.

Accordingly, CRM(A) 4 of 2026 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
