The present application for bail has been filed by the petitioner, who is an accused in Case No. 1252 of 2020 dated 19-10-2020, registered against him under Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. It is stated that he was taken into custody on 20-10-2020.

The allegation against the petitioner in the FIR is tht he had taken the complaints minor daughter aged about 5 years and sexually assaulted her.

Considering the serious nature of allegation against the petitioner we do not find any case is made out by the petitioner for grant of bail.

Accordingly, the application for bail is rejected. (Rajesh Bindal, J.) (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
