Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. Records reflect that earlier this court passed a direction in WPA 1338 of 2024.

The subject matter of the said writ petition and the subject matter of the petition pending before the learned CJM, Jalpaiguri relates to return of the seized vehicle in connection with Bhaktinagar Police Station Case No. 905/2023 dated 10.10.2023.

Subsequent orders on and from 25.07.2024 reflects that the hearing of the said petition is pending and on one pretext or the other, the same has been deferred till date for about six months.

Records reflect that the next date has been fixed on 18.01.2025.

In view of the unnecessary delay, the learned CJM, Jalpaiguri or the learned Judicial Officer in-charge of the Office of the learned CJM, Jalpaiguri will dispose of the petition which is pending for a considerable period of time on the date so fixed.

No further adjournment need be granted to any of the parties.

The finality of the outcome be informed to the parties after considering the merits of the application. With the aforesaid observations CRR 7 of 2025 is disposed of.

Needless to state that this court has not entered into the merits of the case but has only directed the learned CJM, Jalpaiguri to dispose of the hearing of the petition which is pending for a considerable period of time.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
