None appears for the petitioner nor any accommodation has been sought for.

Mr. Bijoy Bikram Das, learned Advocate with Mr. Deborshi Dhar, learned Advocate appears for the alleged contemnors.

The instant contempt proceeding arose from an interlocutory order dated June 20, 2024, AnnexureP1 at page 19 to the contempt application. Learned Advocate appearing for the contemnors has placed a judgment dated January 8, 2025 passed by a coordinate Bench whereunder the entire writ petition was disposed of. Copy of the judgment is taken on record.

Once the writ petition has been disposed of finally, the interim order dated September 6, 2024 has

merged with it. After such merger, the contempt proceeding is not maintainable, in the considered view of this Court.

Inasmuch as, since the petitioner is not represented today, the Court presumes that, the petitioner does not intend to proceed with this contempt proceeding any further.

In view of the above, the instant contempt proceeding, CPAN 2 of 2025 stands dropped and closed.

Accordingly, CPAN 2 of 2025 stands disposed of. (Aniruddha Roy, J.)
