1. Having considered the rival contentions of the parties, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Sililguri Police Commissionerate to ensure that investigation of Siliguri Police Station Case No.508 of 2025 dated September 1, 2025 is reached to its logical conclusion expeditiously.

2. The investigation was initiated upon a direction by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sililguri dated May 21, 2025 in Misc. Petition 29/2025. The said Court has already called for a compliance report and as such the petitioner may

also approach the said Court at the appropriate stage in accordance with law.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

4. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. The parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
