No. 746 of 2018 dated 19.10.2018 under sections 376D/379/506 of the Indian Penal Code. Although the petitioner is in custody for 164 days and a co-accused (Nani Gopal Sarkar @ Guddu Sarkar) has been favoured with an order of pre-arrest bail, we are not inclined to grant the prayer for bail made in this application by the petitioner having regard to the nature of accusations made against him by the victim and the gravity of offence alleged to have been committed by him.
